Is There One Type of Customer Orthotics That Is Best?

Do your feet constantly hurt or do you have a structural deformity or neuropathy? If so, you might be in need of custom orthotics. Watch this short video to learn about the different types of orthotics and what might be best for your feet.

If you have tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, or another structural deformity of the foot, functional orthotics may be your answer. With functional orthotics, the custom shoe insert will control your function that is causing your foot problem. These orthotics can be worn in athletic shoes, ski boots, and even in men’s dress shoes or women’s high heels. The other type of custom orthotics is accommodative orthotics. If you are diabetic and suffer from neuropathy, you may want this type of orthotics—made to protect the bony areas of the foot and prevent open sores.

To lessen your foot pain or to prevent against injuries, you should contact our Parker or Castle Pines offices to learn more about custom orthotics. Call Podiatry Associates at 303-805-5156 or connect with us online at
