Dr. Kimberly Nguyen, DPMDr. Kimberly Nguyen, DPM was born and raised in Texas, where she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Nguyen felt her calling to become a foot and ankle specialist while she was shadowing an anesthesiologist during her undergraduate years. Dr. Nguyen received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Using the knowledge she gained in medical school, Dr. Nguyen completed her post-graduate training at a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program in Camden, NJ at Cooper University Hospital, a level I trauma hospital.

Dr. Nguyen is currently a Board Qualified Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She also obtained her Physician Wound Care Certification by the American Board of Wound Healing, making her a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Nguyen’s knowledge as a foot and ankle specialist allows her to see patients of all varieties and with a wide array of ailments.

Dr. Nguyen has relocated to the wonderful state of Colorado because she loves the outdoors and all the activities that come with it. She wanted to practice medicine in a place where she could treat patients who have similar interests. Dr. Nguyen has a passion to keep her patients active, returning them back to their normal activities as quickly as possible.

As a well-trained and fully qualified podiatrist, Dr. Nguyen is able to treat a large variety of foot and ankle concerns. With her broad surgical experience and many certifications, Dr. Nguyen can perform numerous reconstructive foot and ankle conditions, specializing in bunions, arthritis, joint pain, hammertoes, and flat feet. Her active lifestyle spills over into her work as a passion for sports injuries such as sprains, fractures, and tendon problems. She loves to work with athletes and does her best to keep their recovery time as short as possible. Nguyen is also an expert in diabetic foot care because of her previous medical experience. She is adept at limb-salvage surgery and wound care for patients with diabetic foot injuries.

When Dr. Nguyen is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Khai, and their canines, Rocky (the maltipoo) and Checkers (the howling beagle). She likes to stay active and participates in yoga, working out at the gym, crossfit, biking, hiking, and skiing. You can often find Dr. Nguyen and her husband enjoying the outdoors in their free time. Dr. Nguyen and her husband also share a passion for traveling and food; she not only loves to cook but also loves to eat, a true “foodie” by all definitions.
