Bart Keller, PA-C was born and raised in Hastings, Michigan. Bart graduated from high school in 1976; he received his Associate’s Degree from Kellogg Community College and became a radiologic technologist in 1978. After more than 15 years as a radiographer, Bart’s medical interest and passion shifted to more direct patient care. In 1994, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in medicine from Western Michigan University and passed his physician assistant board exams that same year.
Bart has been a practicing physician assistant for 22 years, maintaining his certification in various fields of medicine. He practiced pediatrics for more than two years and then moved to primary care, with an interest in general and orthopedic surgery. In 2000, Bart joined an orthopedic surgery group in Battle Creek as their first physician assistant; after 12 years of gaining knowledge and experience with Battle Creek Orthopedics, he decided it was time for a change. Bart moved to Castle Rock, Colorado in 2012 and accepted a position with Colorado Orthopedics for a brief period, and later turned the scope of his profession to family practice and urgent care in Castle Rock. Bart joined Podiatry Associates in June 2016 to once again pursue his passion in the field of orthopedics.
Bart realizes the importance of healthy feet in active lifestyles for both young and old alike. He and his wife, Katie, love to hike, bike, ski, golf, and enjoy the many wonderful events and activities in their community – and they share their passion with their children and grandchildren. Their oldest daughter lives in Colorado Springs, CO with her husband and two daughters. Their youngest daughter lives on Staten Island, NY with her Coast Guard husband and their daughter. Bart and his wife are very involved in their church and grateful for the family they have gained through their faith.
